- Setting up, operating installations and finishing testing programs following HAT/SAT protocols for electrical systems
- Checking, supporting and coordinating the activity of OEM suppliers during commissioning phase
- Reporting test data in HAT/SAT documents as well as for improvement points/standardisation. 
In pre-commissioning phase, doing pre checks for cable installations and completeness of connections to support efficient commissioning of systems
- Checking electrical drawings and signalling issues. Providing improvement proposals to the Engineering department.
- Participating at sea trials phase, solving issues and that may arise. 
 

- Completed engineering course, naval architecture or specialty studies on electrical and automation, electronics, telecommunication, etc.
- Knowledge of Internet and computer technology, network systems is an advantage
- Knowledge of Microsoft office package and  AutoCAD
- Proficient spoken and written English skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in shipbuilding or relevant position in electrical and automation systems.
- Sailing experience or working on ships as electrical engineer is also considered.
